Our most important publication is the 15-volume Estonian National
Encyclopaedia. The first volume of the second, completely revised edition
of the Estonian Encyclopaedia was published in 1985, atlas and the last,
15th volume will be published in 2006.
The first four volumes and the atlas were titled ENE (Estonian Soviet
Encyclopaedia), since the 5th volume the title has been EE (Estonian
Encyclopaedia).
Each illustrated volume of this universal reference book contains ca
6000 entries. The supplementary volume (no. 13) includes also index
of terms and personal names. Volumes 11, 12 and 14 contain material
about Estonia.
